Book 5 #50Book2013

Ok, I confess I've fallen off the reading wagon recently (hanging head in shame) but I do have a good excuse! I decided to try & read Dysfynctional Romance again after getting distracted by the brilliant Nightingale Woods by Kathryn Brown. I started off well, until I decided to go for a bath, now I can't have a bath unless I have something to read and I didn't want to take my iPad mini into the bath with me (accident waiting to happen, I'm very clumsy!) so I pinched Eddie's copy of War Horse by Michael Morpurgo to read instead.

Although I do like Dysfynctional Romance by Derrick Hudson, it's just not grabbing me at the minute (I'm a reader who likes to be grabbed & sucked into a book), I've tried my best, given it a fair crack of the whip (Chapter 12 so far) but I'm throwing in the towel, or should that be bookmarker?!
I really want to read more this year, I very much doubt I'll make 50 books, so I'm going to leave Dysfynctional Romance on the back burner & concentrate on War Horse instead.

  1. The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins
  2. Catching Fire, Suzanne Collins
  3. Mockingjay, Suzanne Collins
  4. Nightingale Woods, Kathryn Brown
  5. Dysfunctional Romance, Derick Hudson
  6. War Horse, Michael Morpurgo
  7. Discovery at Rosehill, Kathryn Brown
